Yukon Caribou Hunting

The Blackstone area has produced some tremendous trophy caribou over the years. We have a healthy resident herd of Mountain Caribou in the southern part of our area. They can be hunted either as an add-on to our sheep or moose hunts, or as a separate hunt throughout our season. These hunts are mainly done by horseback, but occasionally can be hunted backpack style.

MacMillan River Adventures offers mountain caribou hunting by horseback and backpack. Due to the tremendous health, stability, and population of the Tay River mountain caribou in our hunting area you have an opportunity to see some trophy class caribou.
